Classic track: Watergate - Lonely Winter

Another omission from youtube which I had recorded off vinyl a while back.

In their earliest days Deep Dish were definitely deeper than they became later on.

Sharam's Blue Dub of Deep Dish produced Watergate 'Lonely Winter' was one of the standout tracks on their legendary Penetrate Deeper compilation on TRIBAL America Records. It has a fantastic, jammy groove unlike almost anything they did since.

When this came out the attention was mostly for the Deep Dish remix and Carl Craig original but the Nature Boy mix here is a worthy upload in a raw Moodymann sort of groove.

Classic deep house with Boo Williams

Boo Williams was one of deep house's go-to guys from the mid 90s onwards. This is an old favourite under the Moon Man moniker on Daisy Records, a rare offshoot of Cajual Records.

It has a wicked groove and shades of deepest Detroit as well.
