The never-ending supply of quality tunes brings me to my December 2008 top ten.I'm totally digging 'Linwood' by Andy Toth (who was one of the original members of Detroit Grand Pubahs) which deep, tech-house with hilarious vocal samples which make you pay attention from the get go. Versatile Records has been totally on form for a decade and their latest sampler has new tracks from both I:Cube and Chateau Flight which ooze the funky quality these guys have always been known for. I:Cube's 'Supernovac' in particular is a must-listen track. DJ Misjah returns showing he hasn't lost the knack either with his 'Easy As Phi' on ReRun Records.
